1st Place   Terry Flynn Terry Flynn played it up in style as the judges sat front and center, He rocked the house and the judges decision was final as Terry was announced the 2005 Fall Shoot Out Open Mic Grand Finalist and winner of the $500.00 first place prize. The winner was not known until the judges handed Thomas Tillman the sealed envelope at the conclusion of their final meeting.  Congratulations Terry.	2nd Place         Dan Rusk    &     David Defeo "Alva Ross" as they are known in the Atlanta area Dan Rusk and David Defeo performed a great set, as they were first judges choice to move from the semi-finals into the Grand Finale'. They then were awarded  second place winning the $105.00. Congratulations Dan & David

Eleven Mile Music Co. Awards first  & second place in season opener !
Host Greg Burch & Winner Terry Flynn            Celtic Owner Walt Sammons & Alva Ross Terry Flynn was awarded 1st place in The Eleven Mile Music Co. 2005 Fall Shoot Out Open Mic Grand Finale.. The judges spent some thirty minutes at the conclusion of the contest going over the score sheets and deliberating before they handed down the sealed envelopes to host Greg Burch and Thomas Tillman. Believe me, this was the only time during that night that there was silence in the house, as the 1st & 2nd place winners were announced. Terry Flynn was announced as 1st place winner, Terry took home the $500.00 1st prize and runner-up "Alva Ross" the duo Dan Rusk and David Defeo were awarded $105.00 for 2nd place. Congratulations to Terry, Dan and David.  Host Greg Burch, Celtic Tavern Owner Walt Sammons & Host Thomas Tillman What an exciting night at the Celtic Tavern in Old Town Conyers Georgia. As some  of the BEST talent in the area performed in front of the judges and a PACKED house of supporters, there was standing room only as the first performer took the stage. Thanks to COLORTYME Rentals there was closed circuit television in the Cafe side of the Celtic allowing for everyone to see the stage.  Ten performers, twenty six songs and three and a half hours  later the energy could be felt by everyone. The mood of excitement, confidence and anxiety could be felt in the tuning room as the performers awaited their walk to the stage. But all was beyond expectation as each and every artist awed the crowd with outstanding performances. They were all winners for sure, however the judges had the toughest job of the night as they had to determine a winner and a runner-up and after what they witnessed the job was even tougher. We would like to thank each and every finalist, Mel & Kev Tobin, Jim Stottle, Terry Flynn, Jim Morton, Dan Rusk & David Defeo, Kerry Lane, Billy Maxwell, Kristen Bussey, T.J and the Gang and Kenyon Mills. You guys were all great and thanks for being there.  I would like to thank the Judges who gave their time and effort to make this a very special event. Eris McKennon, Hermina Rowe and Ken Anthony donated their time simply out of their love and respect for music. Thanks You Guys !!!!
